Nominations Now Open For 2026 Compassionate City Awards
Nominations Can Be Made Online
The city of Las Vegas and the Compassionate Las Vegas Network have opened nominations for the 2026 Compassionate City Awards. The awards recognize those in the community working to assist those in need in these categories:
Education Environmental Sustainability & Climate Resilience Health & Wellness Housing Security Human Trafficking Reduction Restorative Justice Strengthening the Family
Community members are encouraged to nominate individuals who exemplify compassion within our community for an award by clicking on this form and filling it out. Nominations will be judged on their demonstration of innovation and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, as well as the nominee’s significant impact and collaborative contributions, all viewed through a compassionate lens.
Also new this year is the Compassionate City Shining Light Youth Award, which will honor young individuals who embody empathy, kindness and service, making a profound impact in their community. Nominate a youth by clicking on this form and filling it out.
The application period closes Thursday, April 9, 2026.
Award winners are scheduled to be announced at a public awards presentation, planned for 10 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Las Vegas City Hall, 495 S. Main St.
